A quiz, a course, and flashcards for the same team

Check knowledge, walk through the material, and leave a short set to review later. One team can hold all three.

Three assignment types: Quiz to check knowledge, Course to walk through, and Flashcards to review later.
A quiz checks knowledge. A course walks through the material. Flashcards are what people review later.

Three kinds of work, one team

A quiz checks knowledge. A course walks through the material as slides. Flashcards are the short set people review later. In a company workspace, all three can be assigned to the same team.

The learner’s portal lists them apart: assignments, courses, and flashcards, plus the teams they belong to. The trainer decides which of the three the job needs. A single quiz is a complete assignment.

Start with the check

Use a quiz when you need to know who is ready. Generate it from notes or pictures, or write the questions yourself. Pictures stay on the questions. The assignment carries the language and the deadline.

Results show who finished and which questions were missed. Practice after that is the missed set only, so the trainer keeps one quiz. That follow-up is described in practice only the questions that were missed.

Walk through the material

A course is a set of slides. It fits a product walkthrough, a policy explanation, or the part of onboarding someone should read before the quiz. Assign it to the team the same way you assign a quiz.

The learner opens it from their courses. The slides carry the story. The quiz, assigned beside it, is what tells you they can do the work.

Leave something to review

Flashcards hold the terms, steps, or exceptions that do not need another full quiz. Assign the deck to the team. Learners study it from the portal when they have a few minutes, including after they have already finished the quiz.

A deck is the right size for “the five exceptions on the returns desk.” It is the wrong size for a compliance deadline. Deadlines belong on the quiz.

A practical order

Many teams go in this order: the course first, the quiz second, and flashcards for whatever the results showed people missed. You can also assign only the quiz on the first day and add the other two when you see the gap.

The libraries are there so the trainer can match the job. The five-step workflow still ends the same way: someone reviews who is ready.
